FROM THE SIDELINES

This week we have Coach Esha in the spotlight. Coach Esha has been coaching with us since the spring of 2019. When we asked coach Esha her favourite thing about working with young children she had answered that their ability to always be smiling and finding the positive in anything is very inspiring. Coach Esha has been playing soccer since she was 5 years old and hopes to incorporate her passion for the sport with the children she coaches. What makes Coach Esha a great coach is her ability to adapt to different situations and be very flexible. Ever since Coach Esha was young she has always loved working with and helping children, which has led her to her future career decision. Coach Esha is currently attending post-secondary in hopes of becoming a pediatrician one day. What Coach Esha enjoys most about Soccer Shots specifically is how we try to pair the children up with familiar coaches and keep the same coach throughout the season. Through Esha's 12 years of soccer, she had the same coach growing up and she hopes to provide that same experience to the children in our program.
